I’m a software engineer with over a decade of experience in crafting scalable, high-performance products that have reached millions of users. While backend engineering remains my core expertise, I continually seek out innovative ideas and insights across the entire stack. You can see a list of technologies I have worked with here.
Topics like testing, CI/CD, performance, monitoring, distributed systems, CAP theorem, linux, kubernetes, communication, mentoring, estimations, project planning, etc., they all sound like great conversations to me.
All in all, I love working alongside talented individuals who share my passion for building cutting-edge solutions. And I firmly believe that the best results are delivered by 10x teams comprised of normal engineers, so, my work is always focused towards that direction.
I’ve also spent more hours than what I’ll ever admit prematurely-over-optimizing my workflow. This work has thrown some remarkable achievements:
- Configuring more keymap bindings than what it’s humanly possible to remember.
- Fiddling with Bash scripts to automate mundane tasks that I do once a year.
- Fine-tuning my Neovim configuration ad-nauseum in pursuit of the ultimate productivity nirvana.
- Adding zigbee devices throughout my home and connecting them to home assistant in weird ways so
that people coming home delight me with quotes like:
“How on Earth do I turn on the damn F%$"·“ing living room lights, for F·$%&’s sake!”

When it is time to close the laptop, you may find me jamming with my band 🎶 or trying out new chord progressions on my guitar 🎸.
Heroes
Here’s a non-exhaustive unordered list of people whom I’ve been inspired by lately:
- Julia Evans - In this case, the inspiration coming from her has been flowing for years. Love her talent to explain deep concepts in simple and approachable ways.
- Martin Kleppman - Amazing articles, and atonishing book.
- Simon Willison - His workflow and the tools he’s written fit perfectly the way I want to work with LLMs. Check his llm command line tool to interact with LLMs from the CLI.
- The Primeagen - The number of commits in my dotfiles repo really exploded after I saw the videos of his setup.
- Tsoding - Recreational Programming FTW. Really cool episodes where he writes assembly, C, tries out and modifies esoteric languages, etc. I find his videos very instructive, entertaining, and fun!
